To her dearest family, something she’d like to say,
But first of all to let you know that she arrived there okay,
She is in heaven and dwells with God,
Where there are no more tears nor sadness but just eternal love,
Do not be unhappy because she is out of sight,
Remember she is with you, every morning, noon and night,
That day she had to leave when her life on earth was through,
God picked her up and hugged her and said "I welcome you",
He needs her there badly as she is a part of his plan,
There’s so much they have to do to help the mortal man.
God gave her a list of things that he wished her to do,
And foremost on the list was to watch and care for you,
When you lie on the bed, the day chores put to flight,
God and she are the closest to you in the middle of the night.
When you think of her life on earth and all those loving years,
You are only human, they are bound to bring you tears,
But do not be afraid to cry, for it relieves the pain,
Remember there would be no flowers unless there was a rain,
But one thing is certain, though her life on earth was over,
She is closer to you now than she was ever before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many cliffs to climb
But together you can do it with her by taking one day at a time,
It was always her philosophy and she likes it for you too,
That as you give unto the world, the world will give it back to you.
When you are walking down the street and when you’ve got her on your mind,
She is walking in your footstep, only half a step behind,
When its time for you to go,
From the body to be free,
Remember you are just not going ….. but you are going to her……..
