Tawanda Sydesky Nyawasha

Tawanda Sydesky Nyawasha is a critical student of the social world. He hails from Mutoko District in Zimbabwe. In his studies, he dwells much in social epidemiology and the moral economy of HIV/AIDS in Southern Africa. In 2002, he migrated from Zimbabwe to study in South Africa. He boasts of qualifications in Social Work and Sociology, the latter of which he passed with distinction. He is currently working on a Masters dissertation at the University of Fort Hare in South Africa where is also engaged as a part-time Junior Lecturer in Introductory Sociology. Although he is of a Zimbabwean origin, he fluently writes and speaks indigenous South African languages. He is very versatile when it comes to languages.

Tawanda Nyawasha is the second born in a family of five. He attended Rukau Secondary School in Mutoko and Allan Wilson Boys High School in Harare, Zimbabwe.
