The Divine Comedy

BY ANDERS SMINGE BUNDGAARD

sometimes i wish i could say
everything was like i always dreamed it to be
and i’d make sure
you’d always be
the picture in the frame

show me how to learn
show me how to change the game

something’s gonna die tonight
‘cause this’ll take a sacrifice
to leave it all in pieces
shattered on the shore
how could you dream of leaving
when you leave me wanting more

Reviews:

Nice, with a strong sense of nostalgia enriched by the imagery of seashore and the shattered pieces.                                                                                                                     Marjan   11/4/06
